The arrangement

A lakeside resort kept in four pieces

Selvarn was a net station before it was anywhere to sleep. The boathouses sit on piles. The spa is the old ice cellar. The restaurant occupies the jetty shed. The card room is in the net loft, with its own outside stair. That separation is the whole point.

Guests assembling casino stays usually want the same two things: a lively quay they can walk to, and a bed that cannot hear it. Ten minutes of lakeside path does that more reliably than double glazing.

We quote by email, take no payments here, and never sell a boathouse alongside play. If you want casino nights that still end on still water, this is the shape of stay we run.

Shape of a stay

Two nights, four, or a slow week

Two nights covers casino weekends: arrive Friday, one measured evening in town, a long Saturday between the icehouse and the jetty, away after breakfast.

Four nights is a different holiday. The market, a full day on the ridge path, two evenings out rather than one drawn-out one. Most casino holidays booked here settle there after a first visit.

A week belongs to the water. Some treat Selvarn as a quiet casino destination and go into town once; others walk to the casino district on the quay every night and use the inlet only for sleep. Both are ordinary here.

Town after dark

Hellefjord on the quay

One long quay, kitchens, a music room, and licensed floors at the far end. It behaves like a compact casino district. Casino visitors staying here walk. Casino nightlife thins around one. The casino venues there are independent, with their own licences, and we take no share of anything spent in them.

For casino city trips the order never changes: finish time, identification, and a route home before you leave.

Casino facilities, stated plainly

What the loft actually holds

The net loft is a small set of casino facilities and nothing more: a casino floor of about twenty-six people, three casino tables, a short casino lounge, and four casino terminals. Casino hours are 19:00 to 00:15. Casino doors open from the outside stair, not through any boathouse.

Casino games are blackjack, baccarat, one wheel, and those terminals. Casino staff check identification at every casino entry. There is no casino pit in the strip sense, no casino bar with a stage, and no casino amenities that spill into the icehouse or the jetty. The casino area is one room. A longer casino walk is ten minutes along the path.

  • Rates are quoted by email. This website takes no payments.
  • Bring photographic identification for any gaming room, here or in town.
  • Casino outings from the inlet are easier to plan around the last shuttle than around which boathouse you take.
  • Children are welcome in the boathouses, the restaurant, and the icehouse until six. Never in the loft.
  • The fjord page is a plain casino travel guide to Hellefjord rather than a brochure.

House position. No wagering on this website. No claims about winning. Identification at the loft door, nobody under eighteen, and boathouses never sold together with play.
